Milan Fashion Week 2021, from February 23th to March 1st
Exactly one year ago, the COVID-19 pandemic radically changed everyone’s life and habits, including those of the fashion system.
Two seasons later, digital shows have now become the norm during Fashion Weeks around the world and the upcoming Milan Fashion Week Women’s Collection Fall/Winter 2021/2022, scheduled from February 23th to March 1st, is no exception.
The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has presented the calendar of Milan Fashion Week: 61 fashion shows and 57 presentations with 15 physical shows, which will be attended only by a few insiders.
The inauguration of Milan Fashion Week will take place on Wednesday 24 with a digital party, “CNMI MEETS CLUB DOMANI”, on the Instagram profile of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. In addition Urban Vision, thanks to a series of big screens around the city, will show videos of the shows and many other contents.
One choice to highlight is that of Maison Valentino which will present its Valentino Act Collection at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa with a digital live show scheduled for March 1st at 2pm.
Valentino, with this choice, wants to emphasize the enormous difficulties that Italian theaters are going through after the closure due to the pandemic and wants to continue to support the spaces dedicated to culture by giving the possibility, in this case the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, to reopen and continue its activities.
